ABOUT US

Hope In Life Children’s organization {HILCO Foundation} was formed to address the issues such as homelessness, unemployment, poverty, hunger, inadequate primary Health care, through giving back to the society not so much out of abundance but more of the spirit of sharing with others especially those in greatest need in our local communities.

WHERE WE WORK

Bbembe village has very poor and inadequate infrastructure with no proper structural schools and health facilities in place, limited access to clean water, electricity, poor sanitation and hygiene standards.
The high illiteracy and poverty rates have led to young people leaving the village in such for greener pastures.
The nearest health facility is far about 16 kilometers and transportation is difficult hence over 76% of mothers give birth without a trained medical attendant which exposes them to various risks associated with child birth.
